Dr Joanne Lawrence RN PhD

Clinical Team Leader - Continence, Wound, HEN and Stoma Consultant

Dr Joanne Lawrence: RN; PhD; MA; BAppSc; CNA; Cert IV Assessment and Workplace Training MRN; FCN.

Joanne is an accomplished clinician, educator, researcher, and author with qualifications and interest in Continence, Wound and Stoma, Developmental Disability, Community Health education and Neurological Medicine. Joanne’s expertise in bowel, bladder, wound, stoma, and home enteral nutrition (HEN) are well-regarded by her NCAAS clients, team members and across the wider medical and allied health community. She is committed to and passionate about supporting people who have a neurological disability to live independently in their community.

Joanne specialises in providing a range of clinical and behavioural solutions to people of all ages living with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and learning disability, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and degenerative neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.

Joanne is the Vice President of the Continence Nurse Society Australia, NSW Chapter, is a member of the Continence Foundation of Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing.

Robyn Griffiths: RN; BSc (Hons); CNA; Cert IV Assessment and Workplace Training; G.Cert Aged Care

 

Robyn Griffiths completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Continence Management in the United Kingdom. She has worked in the UK and for the Northern Sydney Home Nursing Service, the Continence Foundation of Australia and now for NCAAS.

 

Robyn is a highly regarded continence clinician with a wealth of experience both in the aged care sector and for people with neurological disabilities. She has expertise across bladder and owel dysfunction and has a strong interest in and advanced practice skills of long-term urinary catheter management. NCAAS clients often highlight Robyn down to earth practical strategies as one of her strengths.

Nurse Practitioner, Continence, Wound, HEN and Stoma

Dr Lorraine Dickson: RN; D.N; MN; Grad Cert Adult Education & Training; GradDip(Community Health); CNA; Cert IV Assessment and Workplace Training; TESOL;

Is the only Continence Nurse Practitioner in NSW working in a private practice setting. As a Nurse Practitioner she can make direct referrals to medical specialists, order and interpret scans and pathology reports as well as prescribe a range of medications used for bowel and bladder disorders. Lorraine has a passion for providing comprehensive clinical support to clients living in remote and rural communities.

Lorraine is an accomplished clinician and educator, with doctoral qualifications in continence management. Lorraine holds a committee position on the Continence Nurse Society Australia, NSW Chapter, is a member of the Continence Foundation of Australia, the International Continence Society, and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.

Continence, Wound, HEN and Stoma Nurse Specialist 

Melissah Krigstein: RN; PGDip in Wound, Continence & Stoma

Melissah is a highly qualified and experienced community nurse specialist, she has extensive experience working with people who have an acquired spinal cord injury. Melissah’s post graduate qualifications ensures she is certified to provide a wide range of wound, stoma and continence assessment and therapies. She is a member of the College of Nursing (MCN) and the Continence Nurse Society Australia. Her passion, commitment and competence are often highlighted by many NCAAS clients she services.

Mark Temple: B.Nursing; RN; B.Bus; CPA; MCN

Mark is a member of the College of Nursing (MCN), an experienced community nurse, case manager and a certified practicing accountant (CPA). He has expertise in wound management, palliative care, continence management, risk management and process improvement. 

Mark has a strong focus and ability to organise health care teams, in accord with each client’s needs, goals and wishes. His sound clinical and case management skills enable him to conduct comprehensive reviews that enhance each person’s care provision and provide sound lifestyle solutions. Mark is passionate about providing a responsive and caring client centered service that ensures all NCAAS participants are provided with the best possible case management.
